BEAUPARC EXPANDS UK PRESENCE WITH ACQUISITION OF B&M WASTE

Beauparc has further expanded its portfolio in the UK by acquiring B&M Waste from its founders, the Curtis family.

B&M Waste provide recycling-led waste management solutions to more than 8,500 businesses across the UK.  Founded as a family business in 1999, B&M Waste today operate facilities in the Liverpool City Region, Greater Manchester, West Yorkshire and West Midlands conurbations. The acquisition greatly expands Beauparc’s portfolio in the UK, which already includes Associated Waste Management, JWS, LSS Waste, Mid UK, NES, Scotwaste and WSR Recycling.

Neil Curtis representing the Curtis family, said, “Having started the business with just one truck, it fills me with great pride when I look back at our achievements over the last two decades.  We were able to build a strong team whilst creating a great culture to the benefit of our loyal customers.  Our brand has become synonymous within the waste industry, representing a high level of service delivery.  The time is now right to hand the business to a new owner.  Under Beauparc’s stewardship, the company can continue to grow and develop and strengthen its position as a market leader in the waste management sector.   The Curtis family would like to thank the entire team at B&M and wish them all the best for the future.”

The senior management team at B&M Waste will remain within the business, with Operations Director Mick Ashall taking on the role of Managing Director of B&M Waste and Commercial Director for Beauparc’s UK operations.

Mr Ashall commented, “We are very excited by the prospect of working with Beauparc and our new sister companies to continue to offer our loyal customers a strengthened, fully integrated waste and recycling service.  We are looking forward to investing further in innovation with Beauparc’s support to continue to build upon the sustainable services we already provide.  Together, the group is now a significant employer in our local markets.   B&M Waste will continue all its current operations. The company will continue expanding and creating more employment opportunities as it benefits from being part of a larger, well-funded group”.

Beauparc Chief Executive Brian McCabe commented, “B&M Waste is a leading waste company with a best-in-class team providing a premium service offering to a loyal customer base.  The combination of Beauparc and B&M is highly complementary and now enables us to further expand our geographical reach in our core catchment areas as well as allowing us to provide a broader range of services to our combined customer base. The Curtis family has built a robust market offering.  We are delighted to work with Mick, Grahame and the wider management team to continue delivering quality services to the broader B&M and Beauparc customer base.

We look forward to further developing B&M, ensuring the company is supported and continues to grow, providing exceptional quality and sustainable solutions for dealing with waste”.
