Beauparc Utility Group Acquires Monaghan based Exomex for €20m

(9th October 2021) Beauparc Utility Group has acquired Monaghan based waste management firm Exomex in a deal worth in excess of €20m.

Exomex, which includes the McElvaney’s Waste & Recycling, Ace and Ecological brands, is a family-run business established in 1985. The company provides a waste and recycling service to household and commercial customers throughout the counties of Monaghan, Cavan and Louth as well as operating five recycling centres on behalf of local authorities in those areas.

With 24,000 domestic and 3,500 commercial customers, the acquisition of Exomex will bring Beauparc’s nationwide customer base to in excess of X,000 homes and businesses.

Members of the current management team Emmet, Kieran and Patrick McElvaney will continue on with the business alongside the retention of all 100 existing employees. Outgoing Managing Director Hugh McElvaney acknowledged the hard work and dedication of the McElvaney family and many long-serving staff members in building the Exomex business.
