International Women’s Day

Today represents a superb opportunity for us to collectively raise awareness against bias and act for

equality for women whilst also celebrating the achievements of women within Beauparc.

Beauparc’s Board and the senior leadership team recognise this event as being the first of many

incremental, but significant steps on our journey to strive for change.

We are under no illusions that one calendar event does not signify the effort and actions we’re all taking, I firmly believe and hope that it goes

someway to representing our commitment and our solidarity against inequality and discrimination.

The global theme this year for IWD is #BreaktheBias – This theme centres around deliberate or unconscious

bias which can typically make it diffcult for women to move ahead and progress within their chosen

careers.

Knowing that bias exists isn’t enough, action is needed to level the playing field.
