The company has proven longevity in the industry having been in the business for over 18 years. Over this time the business has transformed and grown from strength to strength enabling it to work in partnership with Key Local Authorities and other major waste management companies.

Commenting on the acquisition today, Brian McCabe, managing director at Beauparc said: “We are very pleased to conclude the acquisition of AWM. This adds to our growth strategy in the UK and brings a level of scale and processing capabilities to Beauparc.” “It is our intention to continue with what is already in place throughout AWM. We will build and develop this business even further, ensuring growth continues whilst still providing the quality of service that customers have been used to.”

The company operates 10 facilities in the Yorkshire area and employs over 260 staff members. Currently, AWM is producing 140,000 tons of diverted waste-to-energy product each year. This is enough to power 20,000 homes and 30,000 businesses.
