Beauparc are pleased to announce their most recent acquisition – Renes. Renes, based in Rotterdam, are a very well established and highly reputable organisation that has been in business for over 60 years.
Renes is an authentic Rotterdam family business, founded in 1953. Piet Renes, Erik Renes and Willem Renes have ensured that Renes has grown into a modern, innovative recycling company specialising in commercial refuse, AGF, plastic and paper recycling, security shredding, data destruction, archive storage and selling new packing.
The paper and plastic side of the business handles over 60,000 tonnes of material each year. Renes also service the largest fruit and vegetable distribution park in Europe. They offer a bespoke service to fruit distribution companies whereby both packaged and unpackaged fruit and vegetables are collected and processed to remove the packaging for recycling while the remaining product is sent for anaerobic digestion, then converted to biogas for electricity and heat. In total this side of the business handles over 50,000 tonnes of material each year.
We are delighted to announce that the two owners, Willem and Erik will continue to manage the business within our new partnership. We look forward to consolidating the existing paper and plastic tonnage from the Beauparc group with Renes to strengthen our position in the European paper recovery market.
