Beauparc Supporting Repak’s Team Green Initiative

To support Ireland in reaching its plastic recycling targets which are set to rise over the coming years, our New Year’s resolution is to recycle as much plastic as possible and we are asking for our customer’s help to support this. We are working with Repak and the Department of Communications, Climate Action and Environment to play our part to help Ireland reach these plastic recycling targets.

Overall, Ireland has a great track record for recycling, but we still have a lot of work to do if we want to meet the new targets. A recent review shows us that, on average, 4% of the content of our customer’s general waste bins are perfectly recyclable plastic packaging (bottles, pots, tubs and trays).

We have issued communications to all our household customers as we want to encourage everyone to talk about recycling in the home and to be diligent about separating their waste and ensuring to put all plastic bottles, clean paper, card, rigid plastics, aluminium and steel in the recycling bin.
